For the first time ever, the 2008 Northwest AA Regional American Legion Baseball Tournament finals for the nation's oldest and largest teenage baseball league is being hosted by the Bozeman Bucks, August 14-18. Baseball players and their families from Alaska, Oregon, California, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and Washington will attend.
Each of the seven state championship teams and the hosts, the Bozeman Bucks, will be vying for the regional title. Then, the winner will go to the Tournament of the World Series of American Legion Baseball in Shelby, N.C. the week of August 24th.
Teams are: Billings Scarlets, Chugiak (Alaska) Mustangs, Gillette (Wyo.) Roughriders, Boise (Idaho) Gems, Medford (Ore.) Mustangs, Twin City (Wash.) Titans, Merced (Calif.) Volunteers, and the Bozeman Bucks. For Schedule and Ticket Information on the Tournament.
